[oc] ncverilog error message/ signal scan

Hello 

I am trying to invoke the signalscan from ncverilog,
but 
I kept on getting error message like
ncsim: *E,SST2ER: SST2 interface error:  Invalid
argument.
ncsim: *E,NOSHMO: cannot open SHM database file
'ncsim.shm'.
ncsim: *E,NODFDB: cannot create default SHM database
'ncsim.shm'.

Does anybody know what are the reasons?
